Two Weeks After Implant-Free Rhinoplasty Using Autologous Rib Cartilage
본문

After an impact injury, my nasal bones became deviated and my nasal tip began to droop.
These issues became my main concerns, which led me to decide on implant-free rhinoplasty.
Choosing a clinic was the most difficult part of the process.
Through recommendations from people around me, I learned about RU Plastic Surgery.
Once I attended the consultation, I immediately felt that the approach was different from other clinics.
Dr. Hyunjoo Kim explained my condition and the surgical plan clearly using a detailed presentation,
which made the information easy to understand.
One of the biggest advantages was the use of septal reinforcement and extension techniques,
and his confidence in both the surgical method and outcomes gave me a strong sense of trust.
The surgery involved correction of the deviated nose and elevation of the nasal tip
using autologous rib cartilage, without any implants.
The first two days after surgery were somewhat difficult,
mainly due to nasal obstruction, which was the most uncomfortable part.
From the third day onward, my recovery progressed quickly,
and I was able to eat normally and resume daily activities without much difficulty.
It is still too early to fully assess the swelling,
but even at this stage, I am very satisfied with the result.
In particular, my side profile has improved significantly,
and I feel much more confident than before.
