Nine-Month Review After Eye, Nose, and Facial Contouring Surgery

All procedures were performed by Dr. Hyunjoo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
For facial contouring, I underwent three-jaw contouring procedures,
including cortical bone reduction.
For the nose, autologous rib cartilage and a silicone implant were used.
Because my nasal bones were wide, osteotomy was also performed,
along with bulbous nose correction and nasolabial angle adjustment.
For the eyes, I had non-incisional ptosis correction with the buried suture technique,
along with a slight upper epicanthoplasty.
The result is somewhere between a semi-out and in-out double eyelid line.
I now understand why people say that time is the most important factor
for facial contouring results.
Even between the one-month and three-month stages I could see changes,
but after about six months my facial lines became noticeably more refined.
Now at nine months, my face looks much smaller and softer overall.
When I compare photos from before the surgery,
the difference is honestly dramatic.
My nasal tip has also softened significantly over time,
and the shape now feels fully integrated with my face.
Because osteotomy, bulbous nose correction, and nasolabial angle adjustment
were all performed together, both the frontal and profile views
look much more balanced and refined.
The nose that once appeared wide now looks much slimmer.
For the eyes, the non-incisional ptosis correction and slight upper epicanthoplasty
created a subtle semi-out to in-out line.
It looks natural but more defined, and makeup looks especially nice now.
As time has passed, the eyelids have become even more natural,
and they now feel like my original eyes.
My main goal was to achieve a refined and natural look,
even though I had multiple procedures done.
I feel that the final result closely matches the direction I had hoped for.
Since this was my first surgery, I initially hesitated
about using a silicone implant for the nose.
However, RU Plastic Surgery is widely known
for revision rhinoplasty cases, which gave me additional confidence.
Looking back now, I sometimes wonder
why I didn’t do it sooner.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the results.
