Three Months After Functional Rhinoplasty with Autologous Costal Cartilage

It has now been over three months since I underwent removal of the threads from my previous HIKO procedure and functional rhinoplasty
using autologous costal cartilage with Dr. Hyun Joo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
As the swelling continues to subside,
I can see more definition and dimension throughout my face. When I compare my appearance before and after rhinoplasty,
I feel that my facial features now look more refined and mature, which I am very satisfied with.
I recently visited Dr. Kim for a follow-up appointment.
I can still feel a small area of firmness around the glabella between my eyebrows,
but Dr. Kim explained that it should gradually improve with time.
There is also still some residual numbness and firmness around the nasal tip,
but I expect these sensations to continue improving as the healing process progresses.
I really appreciate how thoroughly Dr. Hyun Joo Kim checks my recovery at each follow-up appointment.
Counseling Manager Ahn Hyun Joo and the rest of the staff have also been consistently kind and attentive throughout the entire process.
I am grateful for the care I have received at RU Plastic Surgery and look forward to seeing my nose continue to settle and become more natural over time.
