RU 3D-Customized DCF Autologous Rhinoplasty Review (2 Weeks Post-Op)
본문

Rhinoplasty was something I had considered for a very long time.
My nose wasn't particularly unattractive,
but it felt low, short, and somewhat wide overall,
which always left me feeling dissatisfied whenever I took photos.
What bothered me the most was how blunt my nose looked from the front.
At some point, I found myself noticing other people's noses all the time,
and that was when I finally decided to undergo surgery.
I first learned about RU Plastic Surgery through a YouTube vlog.
What caught my attention was that the results looked natural
and suited each person's face rather than appearing overly dramatic.
When I went in for a consultation,
the materials, surgical methods, and overall treatment plan
were explained in great detail,
and I immediately felt that this was the clinic I wanted to choose.
My consultation with Dr. Hyun Joo Kim was very comfortable.
He spoke with confidence and professionalism
without making me feel pressured,
which gave me a sense of trust.
After visiting several other clinics,
I had almost convinced myself not to have surgery at all,
but this consultation gave me the confidence to move forward.
The nose I wanted was not an overly high bridge,
but rather a defined tip with natural overall proportions.
Because I was also concerned about long-term complications,
I chose to use autologous rib cartilage for both the bridge and the tip.
One thing that surprised me most
was how little bruising and swelling I experienced.
Even during the first few days,
which are usually considered the peak swelling period,
I had almost no purple or blue bruising.
There was only a small amount of yellow bruising under my eyes,
and the swelling was mild enough
that I could continue normal daily activities.
Most of the major swelling and bruising
had disappeared within the first week.
Personally, I think that reflects
a great deal of surgical skill and experience.
Now, at about two weeks post-op,
I already feel that my facial features look much more refined and defined than before.
What I love most is that the change is noticeable
without looking obvious or unnatural.
After spending so many years debating the decision,
I genuinely feel that I made the right choice.
There is still some residual swelling at the tip,
but every time I look in the mirror,
I feel that the bridge width, tip shape, nostrils, and alar contours
are all coming together exactly the way I had hoped.
Rather than looking like someone else's nose,
it feels like a nose that naturally belongs on my face.
That is probably what makes me happiest.
Every time I look in the mirror,
I feel grateful that I finally went through with the surgery,
and I honestly don't regret the cost at all.
Post-op Tip:
If you're recovering from rhinoplasty,
I highly recommend using a humidifying mask while sleeping.
The difference in comfort and dryness is huge.
