Three-Month Review After Revision Rhinoplasty for the Nasal Bridge and Tip
본문

Before / 3M post-op
It has now been three months since I underwent revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Hyunju Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
Before surgery, I was concerned about my excessively high nasal bridge and the upturned appearance of my nose, which ultimately led me to consider revision rhinoplasty.
On the first day after surgery, I had difficulty breathing because of the postoperative swelling and nasal packing, and I also experienced discomfort at the autologous rib cartilage donor site.
At that time, the recovery felt difficult enough that I briefly wondered whether I had made the right decision.
However, now that I can see how the nose has continued to settle over the past three months, I feel glad that I decided to have the revision surgery when I did.
There is still some residual swelling, but the overall shape has already become much more natural, and I am looking forward to seeing how it continues to refine as the remaining swelling gradually subsides.
My surgical plan included revision rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage and a silicone implant, columellar lowering, nasolabial angle correction, donor dermis for nasal bridge reinforcement, and two functional nasal procedures for rhinitis.
