I naturally have softer and rounder facial features,
so even during my first rhinoplasty,
I preferred a very natural look.
But because my nose was small
and my skin was thin,
the result ended up looking too sharp after surgery.
As time passed and the swelling went down,
the thin skin made that appearance
even more noticeable.
I also had septal deviation
and a deviated nasal tip,
which I tried to correct before,
but I still felt there was remaining asymmetry,
so after 고민ing for over a year,
I finally decided on revision surgery.
Considering all the time, money, and recovery I had already gone through,
I really didn’t want to go through rhinoplasty again,
so I researched very carefully.
Almost every nose shape I personally liked
turned out to be a case by Dr. Hyun Joo Kim,
which is how I became interested in RU Plastic Surgery.
I consulted at several clinics
that had been recommended to me,
and RU Plastic Surgery was actually the last one.
At the other clinics,
I never felt fully confident,
but after my consultation here,
I booked surgery immediately the same day.
For my revision,
I used a customized 3D Innofit implant,
autologous rib cartilage,
and fascia harvested during the rib procedure.
From the consultation itself,
I could feel Dr. Hyun Joo Kim’s confidence,
and he explained the materials and surgical methods
in great detail, which gave me a lot of trust.
Even after surgery,
he personally came to check on me in recovery,
and the follow-up visits were much more frequent
than at other clinics.
It felt reassuring knowing that
any issues could be noticed quickly,
and I could genuinely feel
how carefully he manages all of his patients.
Although it has only been one month
and there is still some residual swelling,
I already have the soft and rounded look
that I requested all the way until surgery day.
My side profile also looks much more refined,
with the straight-line profile I wanted,
so I’ve been taking extra care during recovery.
Honestly, I’m really glad
that I chose RU Plastic Surgery.
