1 Month After Primary Rhinoplasty for Short and Small Nose (Male Case)
본문

I had a short nose and a very low bridge,
which had been a long-standing concern for me.
Since childhood, I also had severe septal deviation,
and had been dealing with nasal obstruction for a long time.
While searching online, I came across RU Plastic Surgery,
and since I had a fixed schedule the following month,
I needed to make a quick decision.
After my consultation here,
I decided to proceed with surgery right away.
The consultation was conducted mainly by the consultant manager,
with additional input from Dr. Hyun Joo Kim.
Although the cost was on the higher side,
I felt confident trusting Dr. Kim based on his impression and approach.
My procedure included
a silicone implant for the bridge
and autologous rib cartilage for the tip.
After surgery, my bridge became more defined,
and my overall facial impression improved significantly.
I specifically mentioned that I did not want a sharply pointed tip,
and that preference was well reflected in the result.
At one month post-op,
I have not yet noticed a clear improvement in nasal obstruction,
so I am continuing to monitor it.
The rib cartilage donor site incision is about 2.9 cm,
and the scar has darkened,
so I expect it may take some time to fade.
However, the pain did not last long and was manageable.
Looking back after one month,
it was a decision I thought about a lot,
but for those who have similar concerns about their nose,
it may be worth considering.
It not only improves satisfaction with appearance,
