2 Months After Complex Nasal Reconstruction

It has been 2 months since my nasal reconstruction
at RU Plastic Surgery.
After implant removal due to infection at another clinic,
my nose became severely deformed,
to the point that daily life felt difficult.
While searching for cases of complex reconstruction
and contracted nose revision,
I came across RU Plastic Surgery,
and after learning about Dr. Hyun Joo Kim’s approach
and consultation, I felt confident to proceed.
Before surgery, I received around 8 sessions
of stem cell treatment,
and the reconstruction was done using
total autologous rib cartilage
and temporal fascia.
Now at 2 months, the swelling has reduced significantly,
and my nose looks much slimmer and more refined.
I feel much more confident going out now.
The bruising at the tip was quite severe at first,
but it has gradually faded,
and now it’s barely noticeable.
Even the tip scar can be covered
to some extent with makeup.
I still need to wear a retainer
for internal scar management,
so I’m doing my best to stay consistent.
