One-Month Review After Short Nose Correction with Autologous Rib Cartilage
본문

I used to experience frequent nosebleeds
and discomfort due to inflammation inside my nose,
along with frequent sneezing.
The main reason I decided to undergo surgery
was to improve my low nasal tip
and overall bridge line.
I first learned about RU Plastic Surgery
through YouTube.
During the consultation,
Dr. Hyunjoo Kim clearly identified
a natural direction that would suit my face,
which gave me strong confidence.
I emphasized that I wanted a result
that looked natural and fit my features,
and I was impressed by how accurately
he understood my preferences.
My procedure included
autologous rib cartilage for the nasal tip,
a silicone implant for the bridge,
nasolabial angle adjustment,
short nose correction,
as well as functional surgery
for septal deviation and inferior turbinate hypertrophy.
On the day of surgery,
I barely felt any pain,
likely due to effective anesthesia.
The next morning,
breathing through my mouth
caused some throat discomfort,
and I felt slight nasal pain
as the anesthesia wore off,
but overall, it was manageable.
Now, I can clearly feel that
the internal inflammation and nasal congestion
have improved compared to before.
Most importantly,
the external appearance is not overdone,
and my nose is gradually settling into
a natural straight-line shape.
There is minimal scarring,
and overall satisfaction is quite high.
I’m also looking forward to seeing
how the results continue to improve
as the remaining swelling subsides.
