3–4 Weeks After Functional Revision Rhinoplasty with Autologous Rib Cartilage
본문

At around 3–4 weeks after my functional revision rhinoplasty,
most of the initial swelling has subsided,
and my nose is gradually settling into a more natural shape.
In the beginning, it felt slightly firm and unfamiliar,
but it has become much softer over time.
One of my main concerns was that my midface looked long,
but that area has clearly improved,
making my overall facial proportions appear more balanced.
The result is not overly high or artificial,
but rather gives a refined and well-organized impression,
which I am very satisfied with.
Although it has not fully settled yet,
the recovery so far feels stable and smooth.
Recently, I visited RU Plastic Surgery
for a follow-up with Dr. Hyun Joo Kim.
I was told that there are no issues such as swelling or inflammation,
and that the recovery is progressing well.
There were no specific concerns noted,
and I was advised that the remaining minor swelling
will continue to improve over time.
Since everything is now in the observation phase,
I feel reassured,
and any questions I had were explained clearly and calmly,
allowing me to recover without anxiety.
