Two Months After Rhinoplasty Using Autologous Rib Cartilage
본문

Before / 2m post-op
It has now been approximately two months
since I underwent rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage with Dr. Hyunju Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
The clinic provided detailed instructions on postoperative care,
which has been especially helpful because I am currently living abroad and managing most of my recovery on my own.
I still occasionally experience a slight stinging or tight sensation around the nose,
but these sensations have gradually become less noticeable as time has passed.
The nasal tip, which initially felt quite firm after surgery,
has also become more flexible compared with the early postoperative period.
There is still some mild redness at the tip of my nose,
which I understand may be related to the ongoing healing and circulation in the area, so I plan to continue monitoring it as the recovery progresses.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the postoperative care provided by RU Plastic Surgery.
I also managed the swelling consistently, almost every day, which I feel helped it subside relatively quickly.
Now that two months have passed since surgery,
I am extremely satisfied with the overall result and have been enjoying my daily life with much greater confidence in the appearance of my nose.
I look forward to seeing the remaining tightness and redness continue to improve as the nose settles further over the coming months.
