Six-Month Review After Rhinoplasty for a Bulbous and Drooping Nasal Tip
본문

It has now been six months since I underwent rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage to improve the bulbous appearance of my nose.
There is still a very small amount of residual swelling, but overall, I am very satisfied with how the shape has settled.
Before surgery, the tip of my nose tended to droop downward when I smiled,
creating a more arrow-like appearance.
I also felt that the bulbous nasal tip made my overall facial impression look somewhat heavy and less defined.
These concerns have improved significantly after surgery,
and people around me have commented that my overall facial impression looks noticeably different.
At the same time, unless someone is particularly observant, many people do not immediately realize that I have undergone rhinoplasty.
Because of this, I feel that the result has settled in a very natural and balanced way rather than looking overly operated.
My surgery was performed by Dr. Hyunju Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
Autologous rib cartilage and an Innofit customized 3D implant were used as part of the surgical plan.
At six months postoperatively, I am pleased with the improvement in both the bulbous nasal tip and the drooping appearance,
and I am especially satisfied that the overall result looks natural while still creating a noticeable improvement in my facial balance.
