One-Month Review After Primary Rhinoplasty Using Autologous Rib Cartilage

On the day of surgery, before I had even fully recovered from anesthesia, one of the first things I looked for was a mirror.
Even though I was still somewhat disoriented, I remember being immediately impressed with the shape of my nose.
I was so pleased with the result that I kept taking photos of my side profile shortly after surgery.
From the very beginning, I felt extremely satisfied with the overall nasal shape.
I believe this was largely because Dr. Hyunju Kim accurately understood the aspects of my nose
that had always made me self-conscious and created a refined line that suited my facial features very well.
It has now been exactly one month since my rhinoplasty, and my recovery has continued to progress well.
At the autologous rib cartilage donor site, I only occasionally feel a mild aching sensation when I sneeze.
Aside from that, the area has recovered well enough that it does not interfere with my normal daily activities.
Whenever I return to the clinic for postoperative treatment and follow-up,
Dr. Kim and the nursing staff carefully evaluate my recovery,
which has made me feel very reassured throughout the healing process.
I was also very grateful to coordinator Heeju Kim, who kindly guided me through the process before surgery,
as well as the operating room staff, who were warm and considerate and helped me feel less nervous on the day of the procedure.
This was the first time I had experienced such consistently kind and attentive care from an entire medical team,
and I genuinely feel more comfortable each time I return to the clinic.
These days, I enjoy watching the shape of my nose gradually change as the swelling continues to settle,
and I find myself taking photos much more often than before.
I am sincerely grateful to Dr. Hyunju Kim for creating a nose that I am so pleased with,
and to the operating room and nursing staff for making the overall surgical and recovery experience feel so supportive.
