Two-Month Review After Male Bulbous Nose Surgery (Autologous Rib + Silicone)
본문

Before surgery, my nose was very low
and wide, which made me feel insecure.
I really wanted rhinoplasty,
but while researching clinics,
I became quite scared after seeing
so many stories about complications
and revision surgeries.
While continuing my research,
I came across RU Plastic Surgery
through YouTube reviews.
I saw a case with a similar nose shape to mine,
and the transformation was dramatic
yet still very natural,
which led me to book a consultation.
During the consultation,
Dr. Hyunjoo Kim carefully reviewed
the reference photos I brought
and tailored the plan to match my preferences.
I visited about four clinics in total,
but I chose RU Plastic Surgery
because Dr. Kim had a very clear
and confident philosophy about rhinoplasty.
What I liked most was that
he doesn’t try to create identical noses,
but instead applies different techniques
based on each individual’s structure.
The detailed consultation also gave me confidence.
I underwent surgery using autologous rib cartilage
for the nasal tip and silicone for the bridge.
Since my nasal bones were thick
and I had a bulbous nose,
osteotomy and alar reduction
were also performed.
On the second night after surgery,
I felt some pain,
but after that, it was manageable.
The nasal packing was removed relatively early,
though sleeping was a bit uncomfortable at first.
Dr. Kim also corrected my deviated septum
during surgery,
so my breathing feels more comfortable now.
At two months post-op,
the swelling is still gradually decreasing.
While the frontal view has improved a lot,
I’m especially happy with my side profile,
which now looks exactly how I wanted.
Interestingly, people around me
often think I’ve always had a nice nose
and don’t immediately realize
that I had surgery,
which I really like.
I’m very grateful for the result
and hope RU Plastic Surgery continues to thrive.
