Two Weeks After Primary Rhinoplasty with Autologous Rib Cartilage
본문

Since childhood, my nose had been relatively small
with almost no nasal bridge,
so I had always wanted to undergo rhinoplasty.
Once I finally had the time,
I decided to proceed with the surgery.
Rather than choosing a large factory-style clinic,
I wanted a trustworthy single-surgeon practice.
After extensive research and multiple consultations,
I ultimately chose RU Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Hyunjoo Kim is well known for rhinoplasty
using autologous rib cartilage.
After a thorough and friendly consultation with him,
I decided on a surgical plan that included
autologous rib cartilage for the nasal tip,
bulbous nose correction,
and a silicone implant for the nasal bridge.
The first two days after surgery were quite difficult
because of the nasal packing.
However, after about a week—once the splint was removed—
things became much more comfortable.
Now at two weeks post-op,
most of the swelling has already improved,
and I am able to continue my normal daily activities.
People around me say that the result looks very natural
and nicely defined without being obvious.
Some have even asked which clinic I went to.
Because rhinoplasty often involves revision cases,
I had been quite nervous before surgery.
Now that the result looks good,
I feel reassured and very satisfied.
