Male Short Nose Revision – 2 Weeks Post-Op
본문

I decided to undergo revision rhinoplasty because,
although my previous nose shape wasn’t objectively bad,
it looked overall small and the columella appeared short for a man.
I wanted to improve the length and create
a more balanced, masculine image that suited my facial proportions.
I learned about RU Plastic Surgery through Instagram.
After reviewing real surgical cases and patient testimonials,
I gained confidence and scheduled a consultation.
During the consultation, the surgical plan was explained in detail
based on my individual facial structure,
which led me to proceed with autologous rib revision rhinoplasty.
I had surgery with Dr. Hyunjoo Kim,
using autologous rib cartilage and a 3D custom implant.
The plan included bulbous nose correction
and overall refinement of the nasal line.
Since it was a more extensive surgery than I expected,
I experienced temporary blurred vision early on,
which caused some initial concern.
Now, at about two weeks post-op,
there is still swelling and slight asymmetry,
but I understand that this is part of the recovery process.
I’m following all aftercare instructions from the clinic
and looking forward to seeing the final, more natural result
as the swelling continues to subside.
