One-Month Update After Autologous Tissue Rhinoplasty

It has been one month since I underwent rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery using a customized 3D DCF technique.
In the early postoperative period, my nose felt somewhat unnatural, almost as if modeling clay had been placed on my face.
It was both unfamiliar and slightly uncomfortable. However, as time passes, I can clearly feel the nose settling into place.
I was particularly concerned that as the swelling subsided, the nasal tip height— which I liked immediately after surgery— might decrease as well.
Fortunately, the projection has been well maintained with minimal change.
When touching the columella, I noticed a firm, dense area and was concerned about what it might be.
I was informed that this represents postoperative scar tissue.
I initially worried that this firmness might be permanent, but Dr. Hyunjoo Kim explained that at this stage it is normal for the tissue to feel firm,
and that over time it will soften significantly. He reassured me that eventually the nose should feel more flexible and mobile.
I also noticed what appears to be a subtle dorsal irregularity at times and asked about it. Because my skin is relatively thin in that area,
I was told that minor fluctuations in swelling can make it appear more or less prominent depending on the day.
This has proven to be true— some days it seems barely noticeable, while on others it appears slightly more defined.
At this point, it seems to be a very subtle variation. I plan to continue observing the healing process with patience.
