Two Weeks After Refined Nasal Tip Surgery
Reason for Surgery
I liked my original nose overall, but I wanted to improve its low and wide appearance while keeping the result natural.
Rather than a dramatic change, I was looking for subtle refinement that would suit my face.
Why I Chose the Clinic
I learned about RU Plastic Surgery through a recommendation from an acquaintance working in plastic surgery.
Before my visit, I reviewed multiple patient cases and felt that the nasal shapes matched my aesthetic perfectly.
After just one consultation, my anxiety disappeared, and I decided to proceed without visiting any other clinics.
The consultation director was very attentive and reassuring, which also helped me feel confident in my decision.
Surgical Plan
The surgery was performed by Dr. Hyunjoo Kim.
The plan included autologous rib cartilage for the nasal tip, silicone for the nasal bridge, bulbous nose correction, and nasolabial angle adjustment.
Only autologous rib cartilage and silicone were used, and the rationale for the technique and materials was explained clearly in advance.
Recovery and Current Impression
Pain was less than expected, with more discomfort at the rib harvest site than the nose itself.
At two weeks postoperatively, the nasal tip already looks very natural, to the point that others would not notice surgery.
Although some bruising remains, I am very satisfied so far and looking forward to further refinement as swelling continues to subside.
