I underwent rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery using autologous rib cartilage and silicone,
and it has now been approximately ten months since the procedure.
This review focuses on how the results feel after sufficient time has passed,
rather than the immediate postoperative period.
In the early phase, there was swelling and firmness at the nasal tip,
but over time these gradually resolved.
At this point, the nose looks very natural,
and there is little to no visible sign of surgery.
I often hear that my nose looks better and that my overall impression appears cleaner and more refined.
I recently returned for a follow-up evaluation,
and was told that both the internal structure and external shape are stable.
There were no signs of inflammation or contracture,
and no additional treatment was deemed necessary.
Although recovery with autologous rib cartilage does require time,
at the ten-month mark I feel very satisfied with both the natural appearance
and the long-term stability of the result.
I am grateful to Dr. Hyunjoo Kim for the outcome.
