3D-Customized Revision Rhinoplasty – 1 Month Post-Op
본문

I had my first rhinoplasty about five years ago.
At the time, I was happy with the height and overall line,
but as time passed, my nose gradually started to feel like
it was being pulled upward.
After the swelling had settled,
my philtrum appeared longer,
my nose looked shorter from the front,
and my nostrils were more visible from a 45-degree angle.
It became stressful enough
that I started avoiding photos.
Eventually, I decided on revision rhinoplasty
and traveled to Seoul to consult
at four or five different clinics.
Many clinics seemed to recommend
a very high and pointed nose,
but I wanted something natural
while still having enough height and definition.
That was why I chose RU Plastic Surgery.
During my consultation,
Dr. Hyun Joo Kim understood exactly
what I meant by a natural, refined result
without looking obviously operated on.
I also appreciated that there was
no excessive pressure during the consultation.
For my revision rhinoplasty,
autologous rib cartilage
and an Innofit 3D-Customized Silicone Dorsal Implant were used.
I was most worried about the pain,
but the recovery was much more manageable than expected.
There was some discomfort,
but I was able to return to daily life fairly quickly.
I’m very satisfied with the result.
My nasal tip now looks softer and more natural
instead of overly sharp,
while the overall height is still well defined.
Most importantly,
my nose no longer looks short from the front,
and the nostril exposure from the 45-degree angle
has improved significantly.
I finally feel comfortable
taking photos again.
