Three Months After Long Nose and Bulbous Tip Correction
본문

Before / 3m post-op
It has now been three months since I underwent rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage.
At this stage, my nose is starting to feel and look much more natural,
and the initially operated appearance has gradually softened.
I especially notice that my facial expressions are becoming more natural when I smile,
which has made me feel increasingly comfortable with the result.
Before surgery, I spent a lot of time deciding whether or not to include an osteotomy as part of the procedure.
Because osteotomy involves reshaping the nasal bones,
I was concerned that the recovery process might be more difficult or that the postoperative course might not go as smoothly as I hoped.
Fortunately, the recovery has progressed better than I expected,
and the overall result is developing very close to what I had originally wanted.
In addition to the osteotomy, I also underwent correction of the bulbous nasal tip and adjustment of the nasolabial angle.
My surgery was performed by Dr. Hyunju Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
At three months postoperatively,
I am relieved that the recovery has been progressing well and am pleased that my nose continues to look more natural as it settles.
