1 Month Post-Op: Functional Rhinoplasty + Alarplasty

The part of my face I disliked the most was always my nose... I was so stressed because it was too flat and my nostrils/flares were wide. So I finally decided to get a rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage!
Since rhinoplasty is known for having a high revision rate, I was really worried... I think I watched almost every single video on YouTube—from real review videos to vlogs... Then I stumbled upon Dr. Kim Hyun-joo's YouTube channel. Seeing how many revision surgeries she performs and how confidently she explains everything gave me so much trust, so I scheduled a consultation!!
The procedures I had done were: First-time rhinoplasty, nose tip with autologous rib cartilage, nasal bridge silicone implant, short nose correction, columella lengthening, alarplasty (wing reduction), and functional rhinitis surgery.
During the consultation, the doctor drew directly on her tablet to show me the lines that would best suit my face. Honestly, I went in without even knowing what kind of nose would look good on me... The doctor pointed out that because my nose was quite small, it gave me a very youthful/baby-faced look, which was totally spot on! She told me that stretching it slightly to fit my facial proportions would make it look so pretty.
Before the surgery, my biggest fear was "What if it doesn't suit me?", but I'm so glad I trusted the doctor and went through with it. I'm beyond satisfied and so happy! It really hurts right after surgery, but you just have to endure that one day! In my case, I didn't have much swelling or big bruises, so recovery was super fast. There wasn't much pain after the first day, but sleeping sitting up for a week was definitely the hardest part...
At first, it looked so natural that I thought my face hadn't changed much, but looking back at my before-and-after photos shocked me! The transformation is so noticeable, and I love it so much! Everyone around me keeps saying I got prettier in such a natural way!
