Six-Month Review After Implant-Free Rhinoplasty for a Dorsal Hump
본문

Before / 6M post-op
It has now been six months since I underwent implant-free rhinoplasty for a dorsal hump with Dr. Hyunju Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
During the early stages of recovery, I had quite a few concerns because of the swelling and the unfamiliar appearance of my nose. However, as time passed, the swelling gradually subsided and the overall shape became increasingly natural.
At this point, I am very satisfied with the overall nasal contour.
In particular, the wide and spread-out appearance that I previously noticed from the frontal view has improved significantly, and the side profile now looks much smoother and more balanced.
These changes have also made me feel much more confident in my overall appearance.
I am also glad that I chose an implant-free approach without silicone, as this was one of the aspects I had considered carefully before surgery.
During my most recent follow-up, Dr. Kim explained that the nose had settled well without any significant concerns. I was also advised that a small amount of residual swelling may continue to subside over time.
He carefully examined the areas I had questions about and explained the current stage of recovery in detail, which gave me additional reassurance.
Overall, I feel that my facial appearance has become more refined in a very natural way, and I am extremely satisfied with the result.
Even if I had to make the same decision again, I would still choose to undergo the surgery at RU Plastic Surgery.
