Male Rhinoplasty (Bulbous Nose + Autologous Rib Cartilage) – 1-Month Postoperative Review
본문

I had long been concerned about my nose appearing slightly crooked, and from the side view, the bridge looked somewhat low.
After careful consideration, I decided to undergo rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage.
From the initial consultation, Dr. Kim Hyun Joo, the clinic coordinators, and the overall atmosphere of the clinic felt calm and well organized.
Because it is a single-surgeon clinic, I felt that each case would be handled more systematically and attentively, which ultimately led me to proceed with male rhinoplasty here.
At one month post-surgery, the overall nasal line and design appear to have been done very well.
That said, I did undergo nasal bone osteotomy, and perhaps because of that, the swelling seems to be resolving more slowly than expected.
I also still have some numbness around the upper lip area, which makes smiling feel somewhat unnatural at this stage.
Despite these temporary inconveniences, the feedback from people around me has been very positive.
Many have commented that my nasal bridge and tip look much more defined and balanced from the side profile, which has been very encouraging.
