I began exploring rhinoplasty with the goal of improving a facial profile that appeared flat from the side
and achieving a more three-dimensional appearance.
Through online searches and Instagram, I discovered RU Plastic Surgery.
I received consultation and treatment from Dr. Hyunju Kim.
This was my first rhinoplasty, and the surgical plan included the use of autologous rib cartilage
and silicone, osteotomy, bulbous nose correction, nasolabial angle correction, and two types of functional nasal surgery for rhinitis.
In addition, the doctor carefully suggested that a full-face filler procedure could further enhance the overall result,
and I decided to proceed with it together. After undergoing functional rhinoplasty,
the initial postoperative period was somewhat painful.
However, even while wearing the nasal splint, I was already very satisfied with the nasal line.
As time passed, the shape continued to settle more beautifully,
and now I genuinely feel that choosing to have the surgery was the right decision.
Many people around me had discouraged rhinoplasty beforehand, but after the surgery,
they commented that the result looks beautiful and often asked where I had it done.
The postoperative care was thorough, and both the coordinator
and the medical staff were extremely attentive and kind throughout the process.
