Two Weeks After Primary Rhinoplasty
본문

My nose was not extremely low to begin with,
but the nasal bridge was noticeably lower compared to the tip,
which made my overall facial appearance look flat.
In photos, my face lacked definition and appeared wide and two-dimensional,
and that was something I had been consistently bothered by,
which led me to consider rhinoplasty.
I learned about RU Plastic Surgery after extensively searching on Instagram, YouTube, online communities,
and plastic surgery review platforms.
What stood out to me in the reviews was that the results looked natural rather than artificial,
which aligned well with my personal aesthetic preferences.
Since this was my first rhinoplasty, I wanted the surgery to be structurally sound from the beginning,
and the clinic’s extensive experience with autologous rib cartilage
was another important factor in my decision.
During my consultation with Dr. Hyunjoo Kim,
we decided to reduce the bulbous appearance of the nose,
use silicone for the nasal bridge,
and autologous rib cartilage for the nasal tip.
Rather than pursuing an overly dramatic or trendy look,
I wanted a result that would harmonize naturally with my facial features,
and Dr. Kim clearly understood that goal, which gave me confidence.
I am now at the two-week postoperative mark,
and the swelling has been subsiding much faster than I expected.
I was initially concerned that rib cartilage harvesting would be very painful,
but in my case, the discomfort was minimal after the fourth day.
Although the nose has not fully settled yet,
when I compare it to my preoperative appearance,
I can already see that the bridge and tip are much more refined and balanced.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the progress so far
and am looking forward to seeing the final result once healing is complete.
