Autologous Rib Rhinoplasty for a Low Nasal Bridge
본문

I had been considering rhinoplasty for several years due to a low nasal bridge and a lack of facial definition.
While searching for a clinic experienced in the use of autologous rib cartilage,
I came across RU Plastic Surgery on Instagram.
Dr. Hyunju Kim’s surgical approach, the postoperative outcomes shown in patient cases,
and the overall atmosphere of the clinic aligned well with my preferences,
which ultimately led me to proceed with surgery at RU Plastic Surgery.
I had previously undergone HIKO and dermal filler treatments to the nose.
After removing the HIKO threads and fillers, the surgery was performed using autologous
rib cartilage for the nasal tip and silicone for the nasal bridge.
Additional procedures included nasolabial angle correction, bulbous nose correction,
and the use of donor dermis to cover and soften the implant.
It has now been over six months since the surgery.
The residual swelling appears to have fully resolved,
and the nose looks more refined and slender.
People around me have commented positively on the result,
and resolving my long-standing concern about a low nasal bridge has been especially satisfying.
