It has been two months since I underwent rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery.

Because my work involves standing in front of people frequently,

the overall impression my face gives is extremely important to me.

The nasal line plays a significant role in facial perception,

and I wanted a result that felt refined and natural without being excessive.

My goal was to achieve a nose that complemented my facial features

without disrupting my overall balance.

Above all, I strongly hoped for a successful outcome with my first surgery.

After extensively reviewing cases that showed clear improvement without an overdone appearance,

and that considered both facial proportions and side profile,

I narrowed my options down to RU Plastic Surgery and a few other clinics.

Among them, the consultation and surgical plan at RU Plastic Surgery

were the most convincing, which led me to decide on primary rhinoplasty

with Dr. Hyunjoo Kim.

The surgical plan included

autologous rib cartilage for the nasal tip,

a thin silicone implant for the nasal bridge,

bulbous nose correction,

and nasolabial angle adjustment.

I originally had a narrow nasolabial angle,

which made my mouth appear slightly protruded.

Dr. Kim explained that this aspect would improve significantly,

and now, when I look at photos—especially from the side or at an angle—

I can clearly see how the nasolabial angle has been naturally corrected,

creating a more refined upper lip area.

As a result, my face appears much more three-dimensional,

and the previously protrusive impression around the mouth has noticeably diminished.

At the two-month mark, most of the major swelling has resolved,

and the nasal contours continue to settle into a more natural shape.

Each time I look in the mirror, my satisfaction continues to grow.

Knowing that the nose will continue to refine over time,

I feel confident that choosing bulbous nose correction was the right decision.
