Two-Month Update After Revision Rhinoplasty with Autologous Rib Cartilage
본문

It has been two months since I had revision rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery,
where the silicone implant was removed and both the nasal bridge and tip
were reconstructed using autologous rib cartilage by Dr. Hyun Joo Kim.
My recovery has been so smooth that it almost feels like I never had revision surgery.
The nasal bridge was done with a custom 3D DCF technique, and it looks very natural
with no sense of foreignness, which I’m really happy with.
The swelling at the nasal tip has gone down a bit compared to the one-month mark,
but due to some scar tissue on the nasal dorsum, the line hasn’t fully settled
into my ideal shape yet. I’m hoping to see improvement with scar-reduction injections.
Breathing feels comfortable, and without any foreign materials,
I feel at ease while waiting for everything to settle beautifully.
I truly love how I now have a natural, refined, and elegantly defined nose.
