First Rhinoplasty Experience — Choosing RU Plastic Surgery Was the Best Decision I Made

I had always felt that my nose looked small on my face,
and the recessed columella was a major insecurity for me.
From both the front and the side, I disliked how my nose lacked presence
compared to my eyes and lips, and this was something I had vaguely wanted
to change since I was young.

The columella outcomes I was worried about were beautifully designed,
which gave me full confidence in my decision.
For my surgery, silicone was used for the nasal bridge
and autologous rib cartilage for the nasal tip,
along with nasolabial angle correction and short-nose correction.
These days, I honestly feel that choosing rib cartilage was the right decision,
especially because there has been almost no tip drooping at all.
I wanted a natural, near-straight nose with a softly rounded tip.
I hoped that my nostrils would not be too visible,
and I did not want the bridge to be overly high
to the point where it would give a masculine impression.
Although I had many requests, Dr. Kim understood my needs very well
and created a result that closely matched the reference photos I brought,
without being excessive. I am extremely satisfied with my results.
I am usually someone who swells and bruises very easily,
so I was genuinely shocked that I had almost no bruising or swelling
immediately after surgery.
This certainly was not due to my body type,
and I believe it was largely because the surgery itself was done so well.
Even though it has not yet been a full month,
I am already looking forward to seeing my nose fully settle,
as I expect it to become even more natural and refined.
After seeing my results, an acquaintance of mine has already booked surgery
at RU Plastic Surgery, and people around me constantly ask
where I had my nose done and tell me how beautifully it turned out.
I had my surgery toward the end of 2025,
and honestly, the best decision I made all year
was giving up my deposit at another clinic
and switching to RU Plastic Surgery.
