Three-Month Postoperative Review After Revision Rhinoplasty and Alar Reduction at RU Plastic Surgery

At three months after revision rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage,
there is virtually no discomfort, to the point that I often forget I had surgery.
Daily activities feel completely normal and unrestricted.
I personally felt that most of the swelling had resolved,
and during my three-month follow-up visit,
Dr. Kim Hyun Joo explained that the nasal tip would continue to soften
and become more refined over the course of six months to one year.
The subnasal columellar scar has also begun to fade,
though it appears that additional time will be needed for further improvement.
I was initially very concerned about scarring from the alar reduction,
but even when closely examined,
the scars are barely noticeable and difficult to identify,
which has been especially reassuring and satisfying.
