Nine-Month Postoperative Review After Rhinoplasty

It is hard to believe that nine months have already passed since my rhinoplasty.
There is no sense of foreign body discomfort, and my nose now feels completely natural—
as if it has always been this way.
Before surgery, I heard many negative comments about potential side effects,
including worsening rhinitis after nasal surgery, which caused significant anxiety.
However, after extensive research and careful consideration,
I proceeded with the surgery, and the outcome has been deeply satisfying.
Having gone through that process makes me appreciate the results even more.

The nasal shape is highly satisfying,

Another unexpected benefit has been functional improvement.
Previously, my nose would often feel blocked during colder weather,
but since the surgery, that discomfort has resolved,
which I find both surprising and reassuring.
For reference, the procedure involved an autologous rib cartilage graft for the nasal tip
and a silicone implant for the nasal dorsum,
along with columellar lowering, nasolabial angle correction,
and septal reconstruction following prior orthognathic surgery.
