One-Month Postoperative Review After Male Revision Rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery

One month has passed since my revision rhinoplasty,
and my facial appearance is gradually becoming more familiar and natural.
As the nasal structure has become more defined,
my overall facial features appear clearer in photographs,
with a particularly noticeable improvement in the side profile
compared to before surgery.
During the early postoperative period,
significant swelling caused the nose to appear quite swollen
and slightly unnatural.
However, as the swelling subsided over the course of the month,
people around me have commented that my appearance looks
much more natural and well balanced.
Possibly due to changes in nasal structure and surrounding soft tissue,
the appearance of my eyes also seems subtly enhanced,
with effects similar to medial epicanthoplasty or under-eye volume enhancement.
I was even asked whether I had additional under-eye procedures.
Although this effect is expected to normalize further as swelling continues to resolve,
I personally find the current appearance favorable.
In addition, while this change may be more perceptible to me than others,
the nasolabial angle correction has made the upper lip contour
and philtrum appear more defined,
which I also view positively.
At this stage, there is still mild residual swelling
around the nasal tip and the glabellar region,
causing the tip to appear slightly sharp
and the nasal root to feel marginally elevated.
These findings were anticipated and are expected
to improve gradually over time.
Overall, I am satisfied with the current outcome
and feel confident as the healing process continues.
