One-Month Postoperative Review After Contracted Nose Revision, Facial Contouring, and Eye Revision Surgery
본문

This was my third nasal surgery.
The first procedure involved silicone implants, which resulted in implant protrusion and required removal.
The second surgery was performed at a clinic known for autologous rib cartilage procedures.
However, over time, the nose progressed into a contracted nose deformity.
My nose, which was originally short, became even shorter,
and nostril show worsened, causing significant psychological distress.
Wearing a mask became a daily necessity.
Because the previous surgeries were performed at well-known clinics,
I believed that further surgery elsewhere would not make a difference.
I had nearly given up, but after coming across multiple revision cases
from RU Plastic Surgery, I decided to schedule a consultation
as a final consideration.
The clinic is well known for contracted nose revision,
and the aesthetic outcomes aligned closely with what I was looking for.
After thoroughly reviewing Dr. Kim Hyun Joo’s contracted nose revision cases
and undergoing an in-depth consultation,
I decided to proceed without consulting any other clinics.
The explanations were meticulous and highly detailed,
which built immediate trust.
I also chose to address long-standing concerns about my facial contour
and undergo eye revision surgery at the same time.
My previous non-incisional double eyelid surgery,
performed over ten years ago, had weakened over time,
resulting in a fatigued appearance.
Although I had always been concerned about my cheekbones
and square jaw, I hesitated due to the perceived scale of surgery.
Looking back now, I strongly feel that proceeding
was the right decision.
Even though swelling has not fully resolved,
the results are already highly satisfying.
Glasses and sunglasses no longer slip down,
and wearing hats no longer makes my face appear wider
due to prominent cheekbones or jaw angles.
These everyday discomforts have noticeably improved.
Undergoing contracted nose revision, facial contouring,
and eye surgery simultaneously made the first two postoperative days
physically demanding.
However, by around postoperative day five, pain was minimal,
and by one week, I was able to resume daily activities
without difficulty.
For anyone considering contracted nose revision
combined with facial contouring,
I strongly recommend RU Plastic Surgery.
The cost is undeniably high,
but choosing a less expensive option often leads
to further revision costs, both financially and emotionally.
Selecting the right clinic from the beginning
ultimately saves time, money, and stress.
I am deeply grateful to Dr. Kim Hyun Joo,
as well as to the coordinators, nurses,
and operating room staff for their warm
and attentive postoperative care.
Suture removal was performed with exceptional precision
and without discomfort, which further reinforced
my confidence in the surgical team.
I am very much looking forward
to the continued improvement
as postoperative swelling continues to subside.
