Revision Surgery for Short Nose Correction and Columella Lengthening
본문

I was dissatisfied with nasal tip deformity, a short nose, and an overall small nasal appearance.
For these reasons, I underwent revision rhinoplasty with short nose correction and columella lengthening
using autologous rib cartilage performed by Dr. Kim Hyun Joo at RU Plastic Surgery.
Now that three months have passed since the revision surgery,
the subnasal scar has healed well and is no longer noticeable.
Most of the nasal swelling appears to have resolved.
From the lateral view, there have been no major changes recently,
while the nasal tip on the frontal view is expected to refine slightly further over time.
However, I prefer to avoid an overly narrow appearance,
and the current shape feels well-balanced and appropriate for my face.
At this point, the result feels so natural
that I often forget I even underwent revision rhinoplasty.
