Six-Month Postoperative Review After Saddle Nose Correction Using Autologous Costal Cartilage
본문

I had long been dissatisfied with the uneven contour of my nasal bridge
and nasal tip caused by a saddle nose deformity.
Although I had often thought about undergoing rhinoplasty someday,
I had not taken action until a close friend underwent nasal surgery
with excellent results.
After seeing how well my friend’s surgery turned out,
I visited RU Plastic Surgery for a consultation
and proceeded to schedule surgery.
It has now been approximately six months
since I underwent saddle nose correction
performed by Dr. Kim Hyun Joo.
I was informed that the surgical technique used by Dr. Kim
is particularly well suited for correcting saddle nose deformities,
which made me feel fortunate and reassured about my decision.
The nasal shape has turned out exactly as I had hoped,
with a smooth contour and a moderately refined yet masculine straight profile.
I am very satisfied with the outcome,
and even my friend has commented that my result looks exceptionally well done.
Overall, the nose appears stable, natural, and well balanced,
and I am pleased with both the aesthetic improvement
and the long-term consistency of the result.
