Six-Month Postoperative Review After Contracted Nose Revision Surgery
본문

This is my six-month postoperative review following contracted nose revision surgery.
After consultations at several clinics specializing in contracted nose revision,
I ultimately decided on RU Plastic Surgery.
Given Dr. Kim Hyun Joo’s extensive experience with contracted nose revision cases,
the depressed area along the nasal dorsum that concerned me early on
has improved significantly by the six-month mark,
exactly as he explained during follow-up visits.
The revision was performed using the DCF technique.
This method does appear to require a longer recovery period;
however, at this point, the appearance of my previous nose is completely gone.
From the front, side, and oblique angles,
the nasal tip has settled beautifully, to the extent that it is still hard to believe.
At the six-month follow-up, I asked many questions,
and each one was addressed clearly and kindly.
Dr. Kim’s detailed explanations and attentive care were truly reassuring.
For those considering contracted nose revision at RU Plastic Surgery,
it is important to be prepared for significant swelling in the early stages.
In my case, the swelling was quite pronounced,
and I was surprised when the splint was first removed.
By the one-month mark, the appearance became more manageable,
and now I am genuinely very satisfied with the result.
I was informed that as residual swelling continues to subside,
the nose will appear even smaller and more natural over time.
With that in mind, I am looking forward to further refinement as healing continues.
