Revision Rhinoplasty Review After Nasal Tip Drooping and Hump Accentuation
본문

After my initial rhinoplasty,
the nasal tip gradually drooped, making the nose appear longer,
and the dorsal hump became more pronounced,
which caused significant stress and led me to consider revision rhinoplasty.
My greatest concern regarding revision surgery
was the risk of complications.
I decided to consult Dr. Kim Hyun Joo,
who is well known for revision rhinoplasty,
and I gained trust through his thorough explanation
of the surgical approach he pursues and the medical rationale behind it.
Although RU Plastic Surgery was more expensive than other clinics,
I ultimately chose to proceed with revision surgery there
because of the well-structured postoperative care system
and the surgical techniques designed to minimize complications
in revision cases.
From the beginning, I wanted a natural correction
of the drooping, arrow-shaped nasal tip.
As a result, my overall impression has become cleaner and more refined,
and even people who know me well notice that I look better
without immediately realizing that I had nasal surgery.
The columellar scar is barely noticeable unless examined closely.
I was initially very concerned about the scar at the costal cartilage harvest site,
but after receiving scar laser treatment from the surgeon,
the raised tissue flattened,
and with consistent application of scar ointment,
the scar has been gradually fading over time.
