Rhinoplasty with Autologous Rib Cartilage – 3 Months Post-Op
본문

It has been about three months since my rhinoplasty,
and my nose has gradually settled
and blends much more naturally with my face.
In the beginning, I was conscious of the swelling
and slight foreign body sensation,
but most of that discomfort has now disappeared.
Before surgery, my biggest concern was the dorsal hump.
It wasn't extremely noticeable to others,
but I was always conscious of my side profile
and constantly checked my nose in photos.
After surgery, the uneven bridge line
has become much smoother and more refined.
What I like most is that my nose doesn't look overly high
or obviously operated on.
It simply looks like a more balanced
and natural version of my original nose.
As time passes,
the shape continues to soften and settle,
so my satisfaction has only increased.
I recently visited RU Plastic Surgery
for a follow-up with Dr. Hyun Joo Kim.
He confirmed that my nose is healing well
and maintaining a stable shape,
which was very reassuring.
He also explained that the remaining subtle swelling
should continue to improve naturally over time.
Looking back, I had many concerns before surgery,
but now I sometimes wonder why I waited so long.
I'm especially happy that the overall change is subtle
while still making my appearance look much more refined.
People around me have also told me
that my overall impression looks cleaner and more balanced.
I'm already very satisfied at three months,
and I'm looking forward to seeing
how naturally my nose continues to settle over time.
