Rhinoplasty with Autologous Rib Cartilage & Functional Nasal Surgery – 2 Weeks Post-Op
본문

I had always been very conscious of my appearance,
especially my nose.
I felt uncomfortable going out without makeup,
and even when I did wear makeup,
I was constantly worried about my nose contouring wearing off.
For about two years,
I searched through YouTube and plastic surgery apps,
but I couldn’t find a clinic or surgeon
whose results completely matched the style I wanted.
Then I came across a rhinoplasty result on YouTube
that really caught my attention.
I asked for the clinic information through DM
and found out it was RU Plastic Surgery.
I liked Dr. Hyun Joo Kim’s results,
and the postoperative care also seemed very thorough,
so I decided to book a consultation.
My original nose wasn’t particularly difficult,
and I was told that simply adding height
could already make a noticeable difference.
However, I also wanted to reduce the width of my nostrils,
so my surgical plan included alar reduction,
a silicone implant for the bridge,
and autologous rib cartilage.
Surprisingly, during recovery,
I experienced almost no significant pain
in either my nose or the rib cartilage donor site.
Now, the width of my nostrils,
the overall nasal height,
and the shape of my nostrils
have all improved in the way I wanted.
Even if I could go back to before surgery,
I would definitely choose to have it done again.
