Rhinoplasty with Autologous Rib Cartilage – My Experience

During my consultation,
I felt that Dr. Hyun Joo Kim’s aesthetic approach

For my surgery,
autologous rib cartilage was used,
along with nasolabial angle adjustment.
I also underwent functional nasal surgery
for a deviated septum and inferior turbinate hypertrophy.

from harvesting autologous rib cartilage,
but the donor site only felt sore when moving
for about the first two days.
After that,
I didn’t experience much discomfort,
and returning to daily life was easier than I expected.
There was some swelling in the beginning,
but as it continues to go down,
the nasal line is becoming even more natural.
I’m especially satisfied that the result
fits my face without looking excessive.
