Three-Month Review After Hump Nose Rhinoplasty
본문

Before / 3m post-op
It has now been three months since I underwent rhinoplasty for a dorsal hump with Dr. Hyunju Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
Compared with the early postoperative period, the swelling has decreased noticeably, and I can also feel that everyday activities have become much more comfortable.
After surgery, I was initially concerned that the area around my upper lip and philtrum appeared slightly more prominent than before.
However, as the tissues have continued to settle, this has improved considerably and is no longer something that bothers me.
During my most recent follow-up, Dr. Kim explained that there is still some residual swelling around the right alar area.
I was advised that this is expected to improve gradually as the healing process continues.
The autologous rib cartilage donor site was also slightly raised, so laser treatment was provided as part of the scar care.
I appreciated that the postoperative follow-up included careful attention not only to the nose itself but also to the donor-site healing.
At three months postoperatively,
I am pleased with how the recovery is progressing and feel that the overall appearance is becoming increasingly natural as the remaining swelling continues to subside.
