One-Month Review After Short Nose Correction and Functional Nasal Surgery

I decided to undergo both cosmetic and functional nasal surgery because I had always been self-conscious about my very low nasal bridge.
Since I was young, I felt that the lack of nasal height made my side profile appear flat and my overall face look wider than I wanted. This had been a significant source of stress and insecurity for me for many years.
I chose RU Plastic Surgery after seeing the rhinoplasty result of someone I knew personally. The result looked very natural and well balanced, which gave me confidence in choosing the clinic for my own surgery.
After consulting with Dr. Hyunju Kim, my surgical plan included silicone for the nasal bridge, autologous rib cartilage, and functional nasal surgery for rhinitis.
To be honest, the early recovery period was quite difficult for me because of the persistent nasal discharge.
At first, the nasal tip also appeared more upturned than I expected, and the swelling made me worry that the result might not turn out the way I had hoped.
Fortunately, as the swelling gradually subsided, I realized that much of what had concerned me during the early recovery period was related to postoperative swelling.
Now that approximately one month has passed, the overall shape looks much more natural.
People around me frequently tell me that the result looks very natural and suits my face well, which has made me feel even more reassured and satisfied.
At this stage, I am extremely pleased with the outcome and feel that choosing to undergo the surgery was absolutely the right decision for me.
