RU Plastic Surgery – Non-Implant Primary Rhinoplasty Over 6 Months Postoperative Review
본문

It has been over six months since I underwent my first rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery.
A non-implant approach was selected, with autologous rib cartilage slices used for dorsal augmentation
and rib cartilage applied to the nasal tip.
The procedure also included nasolabial angle correction and correction of a bulbous nasal tip.
From the early postoperative period, the columellar scar was minimally noticeable.
At more than six months postoperatively, the rib cartilage donor site scar has faded significantly.
Although it initially appeared reddish, it has gradually lightened and now remains as a thin, pale line.
Further improvement over time is expected.
The overall postoperative course has been stable, with no significant complications.
Healing has progressed smoothly, and the nasal structure and contour have been well maintained.
Recovery has been uneventful.
Additionally, there has been a noticeable improvement in facial balance,
particularly in the lateral profile, contributing to a more refined and harmonious appearance.
This has increased overall satisfaction with the surgical outcome.
Overall, the results of this non-implant primary rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage
have been highly satisfactory, with stable and natural-looking outcomes over time.
