One-Month Postoperative Review After Rhinoplasty
본문

It has been one month since I underwent rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery.
Because I frequently work in front of people,
the impression conveyed by my face is extremely important to me.
Among facial features, the nasal line has a particularly strong influence,
so I consistently wanted a result that would enhance my image
in a refined and natural way, without appearing excessive.
My goal was to achieve a nose that complements my overall facial balance
without disrupting my natural appearance.
Above all, I wanted to succeed with the first surgery.
While researching clinics known for delivering clear improvement
without an overdone look and for designing results suited to facial structure
and side profile, RU Plastic Surgery stood out among a few options.
After consultations and reviewing the surgical approach,
I felt most confident with the plan proposed there
and ultimately decided to proceed with surgery performed by Dr. Kim Hyun Joo.
My surgical plan included autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip,
a thin silicone implant for the nasal bridge,
along with bulbous nose correction and nasolabial angle correction.
Originally, my nasolabial angle was very narrow,
which made my mouth appear protrusive.
Dr. Kim explained that this area would improve significantly with surgery.
Looking at my photos now,
especially from the side and oblique angles,
the nasolabial area appears more structurally supported,
with the upper lip and philtrum standing more upright.
This has clearly enhanced the three-dimensional balance of my face,
and the previously protrusive appearance around the mouth has completely resolved.
Although it has only been one month
and there is still residual swelling,
I am already extremely satisfied with the results.
