At the three-month mark after functional rhinoplasty
using autologous rib cartilage,
I am extremely satisfied with the results.
People around me frequently tell me
that the surgery turned out very well,
which further reinforces my own satisfaction.
The most noticeable improvements
are the increased facial definition
and the reduction of the previously flat, empty appearance of my face.
At my recent follow-up,
although I initially thought that all swelling had resolved by around two months,
I realized that the nasal tip feels less swollen than it did a month ago.
This made me understand that the swelling
is still gradually subsiding over time.
Since my last visit,
I have been performing nasal irrigation
about once a week as recommended.
Because it is winter,
I do experience some inconvenience from frequent nasal discharge.
However, the most satisfying improvement by far
is related to my breathing.
Previously, during seasonal changes,
I suffered from severe nasal congestion and rhinitis,
often accompanied by headaches.
This season, however,
I have been able to breathe comfortably through my nose
without rhinitis symptoms at all,
which has made a significant positive difference in my daily life.
