Reason for Undergoing Revision Rhinoplasty and Three-Month Postoperative Experience at RU Plastic Surgery
본문

I was always concerned about the appearance of my nose,
as it looked upturned with a short columella,
making my side profile particularly bothersome.
I also had nostril asymmetry,
and the nasal tip appeared excessively elevated,
which I found unsatisfactory.
In addition, I had functional issues,
including septal cartilage deviation and rhinitis,
which caused significant discomfort in daily life.
I learned about RU Plastic Surgery through reviews on plastic surgery apps,
and during the consultation,
Dr. Kim Hyun Joo accurately identified
each of the concerns I had been struggling with.
What gave me the most confidence
was that he considered not only the aesthetic aspects
but also nasal breathing function,
and that he personally provides careful postoperative follow-up.
My revision rhinoplasty was performed
using autologous rib cartilage and a silicone implant.
The nasal bridge was designed to remain natural,
while the nasal tip and nostril lines
were balanced and refined.
The final result turned out to be far more natural
and sophisticated than I had initially imagined.
I am currently three months postoperative.
The previously upturned nasal appearance
has now settled into a stable and balanced line,
and as the nostrils have been refined,
the overall shape and facial impression
feel much softer.
Breathing has also improved noticeably,
making a real difference in my daily life.
By combining functional rhinoplasty with aesthetic correction,
both appearance and nasal function have improved,
and I am very satisfied with the outcome.
