Two-Month Postoperative Review After Contracture Nose Revision Surgery at RU Plastic Surgery

It has been two months since my contracture nose revision surgery.
I had my first rhinoplasty about ten years ago.
Around three to four years ago, people close to me started asking
why my nose looked so upturned.
At the time, I had no idea that my nose was changing.

as it was my first experience with general anesthesia.
Having my head wrapped in bandages afterward
was physically and mentally challenging at first.

not being able to drink water made my throat feel extremely dry.
However, when I returned to the clinic the next day
and had the nasal packing removed,
breathing became much more comfortable.
Dr. Kim personally examined my nose in detail,
which was very reassuring.
Now, at about two months postoperatively,
the swelling has clearly decreased compared to the one-month mark,
and the nasal contour has improved significantly.
Dr. Kim explained that up to six months after surgery,
swelling and internal scar tissue can make the nose
appear thicker than its final shape.
Even so, the side profile and nostril exposure
have already improved noticeably,
and I am very satisfied with those changes.
In particular, the nasal tip has come down,
and the overall balance of my face looks much more natural.
Although more time is needed for the nose to fully settle,
I already feel relieved and grateful
to see such stable and positive changes.
