One-Week Postoperative Review After Rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery First Makeup After Splint Removal
본문

It has been one week since my rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery,
and I tried wearing makeup immediately after removing the splint yesterday.
There is still some swelling,
but I am already so satisfied that I wanted to share my experience right away.
I had long been unhappy with my nose,
as it was low and appeared long and drooping.
After visiting three different clinics for consultations,
I finally decided to proceed with rhinoplasty.
I first learned about RU Plastic Surgery
through a YouTube vlog featuring autologous rib rhinoplasty.
The nasal shape in that video was exactly the style I was aiming for,
which immediately caught my attention.
Right now, my nose has the straight profile I wanted
with a softly rounded nasal tip,
which I am very happy with.
From the front and along the lines,
it still feels a bit swollen and full,
but Dr. Kim Hyun Joo explained that this will gradually subside.
At my two-week follow-up,
the internal sutures and nasal sheets will be removed.
For my surgery,
silicone was used for the nasal bridge,
and autologous rib cartilage was used for the nasal tip.
The nasolabial angle correction turned out particularly well,
and as soon as the splint was removed,
my mother and friends all reacted very positively,
saying the results look extremely good.
Even at just one week postoperatively,
I am already very pleased with the outcome
and am looking forward to seeing the results continue to settle.
