Two-Month Postoperative Review After Revision Rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery
본문

It has been just over two months since my revision rhinoplasty,
and I would like to share my experience.
Previously, I was unhappy with the appearance of my nose due to a short columella
and an upturned nasal tip.
Over time, the nasal tip continued to descend,
resulting in a parrot-beak–like deformity that was especially concerning.
During this revision surgery at RU Plastic Surgery,
I underwent nasal tip revision along with correction of a deviated nose
and columellar lengthening.
Autologous rib cartilage was used for the nasal tip,
and a silicone implant was used for the nasal bridge.
The deviation of my nose has been well corrected,
and the height of the nasal bridge is higher than before,
making the overall balance between the nasal tip and bridge
look much more harmonious and aesthetically pleasing.
There was some separation at the incision site
where the rib cartilage was harvested,
so I returned for evaluation.
Dr. Kim Hyun Joo examined the area thoroughly
and provided careful follow-up care,
which reassured me greatly.
